Ingredients

  • 12 rice krispie treat bars
  • 300 g / 10.5 oz white chocolate or white candy melts
  • 24 candy eyes

Instructions

  • Melt the white chocolate in a bowl using a microwave or double boiler.
If you're using a microwave, heat for 30-40 seconds at a time and stir regularly to avoid scorching the chocolate.
Set chocolate aside to cool slightly in the bowl.
  • Line your baking sheet with a silpat mat or baking parchment.
Dip each rice krispie treat bar in the melted chocolate, fully coating the top and sides of the bar.
Gently shake off any excess chocolate, and place the bar uncoated side down on your lined baking sheet.
Before the chocolate sets, place 2 eyes onto each rice krispie treat.
Leave the bars to harden completely. (about 10-15 minutes in the refrigerator).
  • Re-melt the remaining white chocolate, and spoon it into your piping bag or sandwich bag.
Snip a tiny corner off the, about 1/8th inch (3mm) wide so you can pipe the chocolate.
  • Pipe the white chocolate over the coated rice krispie bars in a back and forth motion to create the mummy bandages, making sure to avoid covering the eyes.
  • Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container for about a week.
