Servings 6pretzel spider webs
Equipment
silpat mat or non stick parchment paper
baking tray
disposable piping bag or a sandwich bag
Ingredients
48pretzel sticks
3.5ozwhite chocolate
2ozmilk or dark chocolate(optional)
Instructions
Melt the white chocolate in a bowl using a microwave or double boiler. If you're using a microwave, heat for 30-40 seconds at a time and stir regularly to avoid scorching the chocolate. Set chocolate aside to cool in the bowl.
Line your baking tray with a silpat mat or baking parchment. Then set out your pretzels in a radial arrangement. I used 8 pretzel sticks per spider web, but you use more or less if you prefer!
Once the white chocolate has cooled and thickened, spoon it into your piping bag or sandwich bag. Snip a tiny corner off the piping bag, about 1/8th inch (3mm) wide so you can pipe the chocolate.
Pipe a blob of white chocolate onto the center of each set of pretzels to help hold them together.
Starting from the inside out, pipe rings of white chocolate over the pretzels to form the web.
Refrigerate for around 15-30 minutes or until set, and carefully peel off the mat.
